Personal vs Technology

PT Excelcomindo Pratama, usually abbreviated as XL - the Indonesian third largest GSM operator, is making a great promo in coordination with Sony Ericsson. The promo takes place from 19 July (tomorrow) to 30 September 2007. It said Buy 1 Get 6. What a bombastic offer! What is it actually in the package?

With IDR 2,888,000 (about little more than USD 300), you will get:

1. Sony Ericsson W950 - a walkman phone with no-camera-3G-network, 4GB internal memory for up to 4000 your favorite songs, and Symbian UIQ 3.0 touchscreen
2. Sony Ericsson J220i - a simple low end phone
   
3. Sony Ericsson J220i (you get two of them)
4. XL Bebas prepaid card with IDR 10,000 initial value
5. XL Bebas prepaid card with IDR 10,000 initial value
6. XL Bebas prepaid card with IDR 10,000 initial value (yes, you get three card for three phones)

Plus as additional value, for communication among three numbers above, you get special rate. It is IDR 35 for each SMS and IDR 150 for a minute calling! But, there is no specific information whether this price promo will hold for good or will end for certain period.
