Saya sedang menikmati nasi goreng beli di kantin pagi-pagi ketika seorang teman menyeletuk:

Teman: “Wah, pagi-pagi sudah makan nasi goreng!”
Saya: “Lha, nasi goreng itu kan makanan pagi?”
Teman: “Uhm, bukannya untuk makan malam?”
Saya: “Jeng jeng (bingung mencerna pernyataan tadi)”

Saya mikir-mikir, sejak kapan nasi goreng itu jadi HANYA untuk makan malam? Nasi goreng sih memang makanan kapan saja, tapi bingung saja kalau ada yang beranggapan kalau nasi goreng adalah “makanan berat” untuk pagi hari.

Seingat saya sih biasanya pake breakfast di hotel selalu ada nasi gorengnya. Jadi, ada lagi yang beranggapan kalau nasi goreng hanya untuk makan malam?

Yes, I post about my birthday every year. Last year, I wrote what about what happen on this date, especially in the past. Now, I am trying to write about my present. What happen to my birthday?

One thing for sure, this is best birthday celebration so far. Thank God for having you by my side, baby. How can I live without you? You complete my missing pieces, fill the gap in my heart, and feed the poverty of my soul. Getting puke already? Hehehe.. just want to express my gratitude for her.

Oh yeah, she gives me this watch as my birthday present. It is so beautiful. Not about price I am talking about. It is more about the intangible value of the present, which is priceless, that makes me happy.

Well, about my 26th birthday.. What I have already achieved so far? Not yet becoming full-time blogger, but I believe I am heading to the right track. Right now, my income from blog (paid review and content writer) has reached about 75% of my daily job salary. Quite astonishing since I start obtaining money from blog from only 12.5% of monthly salary about less than 6 months ago. Really help myself for funding my wedding preparation.

Hopefully, by the end of the year, I can obtain twice as many as monthly salary from the making money online. If you are in that condition, will you challenge yourself to pursue your lifetime dream?

My lovely computer has been 7 years old. When I first bought it, the specification is quite astonishing with 1 GB AMD Athlon and 256 MB RAM. But now, I must be honest that the computer is not that powerful anymore. To play new game, I need to buy more memory. I think for now, 1 GB memory is a minimum requirement.

Saya pernah menggunakan metode status Yahoo Messenger untuk promosi tulisan baru atau situs/blog baru di lingkungan sekitar selama jangka waktu tertentu. Untuk bangun buzz mungkin lumayan, cuma saya akui bahwa efektifitasnya ya gak hebat-hebat amat. Kemungkinannya ya cuma dua, antara:

• Orang-orang di list YM saya bukan target segmen tulisan saya
• Tulisan saya emang not good enough

Well, kayaknya sih yang nomor dua yang lebih besar kemungkinannya hehehe.. Bagaimana dengan Anda, seberapa baik promosi blog melalui status di Yahoo Messenger atau Instant Messenger yang lain, seperti MSN dan Google Talk, berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi?

Jika baru-baru ini kita login ke akun Facebook kita, akan tampak di kanan bawah tentang feature baru yaitu Facebook Chat. Yah, seperti layaknya Instant Messenger yang lain, kita dapat berkomunikasi dengan Facebook Chat dengan teman kita yang sedang online di Facebook.

Tampilannya overall mirip dengan Gmail Chat yang terintegrasi dengan akun Gmail. Di sini kita bisa jg men-set statusnya apakah Available, Busy, atau mungkin malah mematikan feature-nya jika sedang online di Facebook. Untuk font dan emoticon-nya relatif gak jauh beda dengan Gmail Chat, bedanya sih emoticon Gmail Chat bisa beranimasi.

Jadi, perlu adakah Facebook Chat? Secara umum, sebagai situs social network terkenal, jaringan Facebook memang enak untuk dijadikan sarana berkomunikasi online, tidak hanya indirect melalui Wall atau Message, tapi juga direct melalui Chat.

Yang pasti sih, kemungkinan adalah kecil kita berkomunikasi dengan teman yang sudah kita ketahui akun Instant Messenger-nya (YM, MSN, AIM, Google Talk). Karena ya tampilan IM biasanya lebih atraktif. Emoticon, font, dan warna bikin percakapan kita lebih hidup. Cuma ya kan belum tentu semua teman terdaftar di Facebook kita tahu akun IM-nya.

Satu lagi, kayaknya sih saya menebak bahwa Facebook Chat ini tidak bisa diblok oleh proxy kantor (kecuali jika emang situs Facebook-nya yang di-blok). Dengan demikian, kalo di kantor kita IM-nya diblok (termasuk meebo dkk), Facebook Chat ini masih bisa jadi alternatif. Gimana kalau kantornya memblok situs Facebook? Well, cari kantor lain aja gimana?
