Let’s play tennis!

Play tennis anyone? Once was an elite sports, tennis was invented in the middle of 19th century in Birmingham, England. Tennis now can be played by all people around the world as long as you have the court, net, and racket. Back then, the clothes were quite conservative. They need to be all white. Maybe like all-black-referee-uniform of footballer. But now, we can see fashionable clothes in court, especially in women’s match, along with colorful mix. Take a look at Russian’s Maria Sharapova or American’s Serena Williams. They are using fancy tennis skirts that as nice as model at catwalk. Well, they are now model too for sport apparels. Even Anna Kournikova, former singer Enrique Iglesias’ lover, made bunch of bucks outside the court since she hasn’t won any championship in her career.
For men, although the uniform is not that complicated, it may differ from one player to another. In Wimbledon, all player need to use all white uniform, but in other tournament there is no such rule. Spaniard’s Rafael Nadal is usually wearing shirt without sleeve, while other players can wear tennis shirts in all black, including the bandage. Brazilian’s Gustavo Kuerten once wore his national pride colors, yellow and blue, in order to support his national soccer team. We can choose between regular tee shirt or polo shirt.
Last but not least, we need to take care of the racket. Good racket means have good tennis strings. You use strings instead of racket to hit the ball, don’t you? Made from synthetic fibers, racket strings that easily loose is not acceptable, especially in professional area. World player usually can sense if there is something wrong with their racket strings, just by listening to their “zing”. Player need to restringing or change the racket. Before entering the court, make sure everything is perfectly alright.
