Kenapa tidak pernah pakai Nokia?
Sebenarnya sih, waktu jaman Nokia 5110 happening banget pernah nyoba tukeran dengan teman sebentar [eh, dulu pas tukeran itu, gue pernah ngalahin score Snake lo kan?].
Trus habis itu masih sempet kesengsem dengan 3210 dan 3310. Emang sih pas itu gue ngerasa bentuknya better dibanding kompetitor. Bahkan gue nge-fans banget pas liat 8250. Tapi.. lama2 kok kok ilfil ya karena jadi ponsel sejuta umat.
Semua orang pakai itu. kenapa begitu? Well, karena waktu itu pembacaan SMS-nya emang catchy sekali sehingga kalo ponsel lain ga bisa baca “SMS cantiknya”. Gak unik gitu rasanya. Hehehe.. emang gue nampaknya pecinta kaum tertindas. Gak gitu suka yang mainstream 
Terus dari trend awal smartphone, ketika pertarungan 7650 vs Sony Ericsson P800, gue lihat Nokia itu fiturnya limited, tapi harganya kok unlimited. Kualitasnya juga so-so, emang Symbian versi awal masih banyak bug sih. Gitu yang beli kok masih berjibun.
Semakin kesal deh karena masyarakat Indonesia sangat Nokia-minded [kembali, gue bukan pendukung mainstream]. Jadinya semakin tak bisa berpaling hati.
Well, sebenernya sih, gue liat Nseries sekarang dari desain bentuk [dan fitur mungkin], udah cukup OK. Kameranya [dengan lensa Carl-Zeiss] sudah selevel dengan buatan Sony Ericsson [Cybershot series].
Tapi untuk urusan audio, kualitasnya jelas masih kalah dengan Walkman series. Symbian S60 terbaru [dengan dukungan aplikasi yang sangat banyak] punya sesuatu yang “lebih” dibandingkan dengan Sistem Operasi lain [termasuk Apple dengan iPhone-nya]. Sebagai contoh, Fring baru mendukung sistem operasi ini saja [tetep protes 
].
Jadi, kapan jadi Nokia user? Well, gue sih masih geng ABN [Asal Bukan Nokia]. Intinya, kita berada di kutub yang berseberangan. Semoga ada yang tertarik ikutan komunitas ABN
Tapi, melihat tren inovasi Nokia yang tetap kencang, gue yakin at least sampe 5 tahun ke depan Nokia masih bisa jadi pemimpin pasar di bidang ponsel. Well, at least masih bisa berharap Sony Ericsson naik jadi no. 3 mengalahkan Samsung

iya.. walopun skrg pake nokia (dulu juga :p) tp itu kan krn terpaksa.. klo dulu itu, ya.. namanya jg dibeliin. udh dibeliin, milih2, kok kayaknya tak tahu diuntung :p jadilah pake ‘hp sejuta umat’

tp trus gara2 pk alcatel elo. gw d sini smpet loh pke alcatel. jd abis hp sjuta umat itu, gw pke alcatel ot5252 (klo ga salah). mini dan efisien ^^ suka gw
trus hape itu rusak (setahun yg lalu?), dan skrg pke nokia lagi. masi sjuta umat juga. (org kantor ada 3 or 4 yg make itu :D).tp yeah, gw beli soalna wktu alcatel rusak, hape itu yg lg murah ^^ hehe.. jadi krn alasan ekonomi sbenernya :p
but yeah, jika alasan ‘budget’ dihilangkan, i really prefer sony ericsson.
btw gw blm liat postingan soal sony ericsson yg paling baru d blog loe :p

alasan budget? emang Sony Ericsson ‘mahal’ gitu? bukannya relatif lebih murah dibanding Nokia untuk kemampuan yang sama?
kalo di Holland paket kontrak jatuhnya jadi murah kan?

well iya sih.. pake kontrak murah :p wktu itu si nokia yg ini dijualnya 35 or 53 euro gitu, plus nomer dan pulsa pre-paid.
SE yg keren2 (aka walkman series or P1 :p) ga ada kali segitu :p

dulu baru keluar 8250, beli mahal2 maklum mahasiswa kere pengen gaya, eh taunya low batt
beli 3610 baru juga, tetep gak memuaskan
tuker sama 6610…. hapenya sukses masuk mesin cuci!!! huaaaaa!!!!

wakakak, gw dari siemens m50, ke SE k700 trus SE w550, dan terakhir ke 9300 gara2 ga ada smartphone SE yang gw mau. Cupuw semua! antara terlalu cupu ato terlalu mahal ;))

hmmm… aku setuju sama kamu mir… aku juga ga sukaaaa banget sama nokia… ga tau kenapa… suka nggak nyaman aja dengan tampilannya… pas make punya temen juga… ih… nggak banget deh untuk make hape ini, makanya aku lebih suka make motorola… daripada nokia… liat dari budget juga sih… nokia dengan fitur yang gitu gitu aja harganya… maakk…
sebenernya dulu tertarik sama SE, cuma ga tau dapet n pasnya malah sama motorola, tapi sekarang malah selingkuh sama benQ-Siemens…

everybody here seem’s to really hate nokia.. here’s my opinion..
i like to think of my mobile phone as a multipurpose gadget. i try to maximise the usage by installing 3rd party applications that i find really usefull in everyday work/fun. for example, here are the applications i use:
mig33, operamini, mobile office, handyexpense,and a few symbian games.
i don’t mean to brag but nokia’s n series (and a few other new nokia products) uses symbian S60 for it’s OS. This symbian S60 gives a whole lot of ‘playground’ for many application developers to invent new apps, so there are hundreds of great applications there on the net installable to my nokia phone.
i compared SE’s OS with a symbian s60 OS on a nokia, and the one that has the feel of a PDA phone’s explorer style menus is of course from NOKIA. The OS in Sony Ericsson is far from the term ‘flexible’ as is the Motorolla’s OS.
Don’t ge me wrong, without the symbian s60 on a nokia (like nokia’s older versions) i hate’em too. So, unless other mobile manufacturers can come up with a better OS for a mobile phone device to be a worthy challenger to the symbian s60 on the nokia, i’m not throwing my nokia away.
So people who hate nokia just because it’s better selling in the market, i’m sorry to tell you that you’re missing a lot of technology. Have you ever heard other mobile phone manufacturer that calls their mobile phone product “a multimedia computer”? I think not! check out the interface on N95!!

SE untuk anda yang mengerti technology” think again!! nokia understands that using a powerful OS can give opportunities for program developers to create apps tools for supporting mobile activity. “SE untuk anda yang mengerti technology” haha.. mengerti bahwa technology yang bisa dikembangkan terbatas!!

You got the point here, but the things i disagree most is the idea of mobile phone replacing computer. For me, it never will. I prefer editing my work, playing my superb game, or browsing the Internet using 12″ notebook rather than tiny little 2.3″ screen. That is why I against the use of PDA phone [for this kind of purposes].
Well, the succeed of Sony Ericsson lies on the usability of its phone. Media player, camera, and FM radio will be required, but the multipurpose computer? Yeah, right
If people only love Walkman as media player or Cybershot as multipurpose camera, why should you push the limit of something you will never achieve? If this is called business, Sony Ericsson has accomplished its objectives
As I mentioned in my post, Nokia has made a great job on giving the new definition of gadget technology. But still, people has already chosen what the technology is all about.

people has their right to said their own opinion, as i have and you have! ( ‘coz people’s real opinion didn’t come without experienced before, they must have used it before! even just borrowed their friend’s phone or whoever! )
as you like, i myself like to think that my mobile phone is a multipurpose gadged ( nowadays ) ‘coz look back a several years before.. could be products of nokia playing mp3 file on the phone?
nor the sony ericsson coulnd’t ( even sony and ericsson isn’t exist to combine their company )
i really agree with your opinion about nokia’s playground for software developer, it’s good for software developer, ‘coz they can invent something creative and useful software that can be installed on nokia’s phone.. this is absolutely great!
it just..
did user know how to operate that lot’s of software at all?
did they oftenly using that software?
did they really requires and need that software to work?
did they really think can replace computer with smart mobile phone?
did they really installing licensed application?
and did they just installing that application for ‘yg penting ada aplikasi’?
even the most bussiest employee just using their mobile phone to communicate each other, to call their cient, their boss, their friends or whoever.. or sending a message while cannot accapet a calls
did the accountan using excel on their smart nokia? i’m sure it’s rare
beside a tiny screen, it also more difficult to operate it!
if mobile phone can replace a computer, it means right now i’m typing this comment using my cellphone.
when nokia said relace a computer job doesn’t mean really replace it, it just a methapore. it might mean nokia could perform their product like a computer.
mostly nokia user just get their application from buying a MMC then that MMC is already installed with lots of application, mp3 files, themes, etc inside…
who knows its licensed or a copy software means piracy!
even a licensed application just a free trial.
and most nokia user just put that application and that’s it! nothing more!
and most of it.. doens’t mean sony ericsson didn’t has a software developer for their phone!
ofcourse they had.. it just they doesn’t has as ‘much’ as nokia has!
after all..
first time mobile phone was invented, it was invented to easier to comunicate each other…
so.. why should we discuss these things to much…!!

remember it;s absolutely right about using opwerful OS gives software developer to create lots of application, tools, software etc.
but as long user never installed a licensed and not a copy, that would be great..
however 3rd party developer also increasy piracy profit more and more!
and.. it is true that teknology yang bisa diciptakan memang terbatas, dan masalah waktu.
tapi jangan lupa teknologi itu di ciptakan manusia, dan nokia bukan lahir sendiri seperti kera sakti yang lahir dari batu, tapi nokia juga di ciptakan oleh manusia dan punya teknologi yang terbatas, sama halnya sony ericsson!

kalo gw probadi sih, lebih milih SE ato samsung. soalnya hape nokia kadang suka ga mikirin harga… harga 2jt baru dapet kamera 1,3 mp nah SE dah dapet yg 2 mp tuh :p
