Indonesia Presidential Election in Microsoft’s Job Vacancy?

Just read Microsoft’s opening in Yahoo HotJobs which is posted on April 30, 2007. Nothing special about the job. But what makes me stunning is the introduction of the system, that stated like this:

MPS [Message and Process Services] is chartered with developing industry leading messaging services. Whether we provide the framework for Indonesian presidential elections with our Windows deliverables, or facilitate loan processing for JP Morgan with our BizTalk deliverables, we own a major segment of the world’s mission critical scenarios. With a solid footing in enterprise services, we’ve set our sights on internet-scale solutions and are developing a set of next generation technologies to achieve them.

Maybe Bill and Indonesian Government really have a strategic partnership, for inserting the presidential election [in 2004] into Microsoft’s success story. This country is yours, Sir!

Anyway, if you still want to work in Redmond, WA, you may apply here or here. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) and strongly supports diversity in the workforce.
