Google PR3 for this site

Good news for this site! Only two months after its first launched (26 Feb 2007) , I saw in my Mozilla Firefox’s Google Toolbar that my site’s PageRank is not blank anymore. I saw green bar! Yes, it is official that my site gets PR3 ;)

What is Google PageRank anyway? The toolbar said that “PageRank is Google’s measure of the importance of this page”. According to Wikipedia, PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of “measuring” its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. PageRank was developed at Stanford University by Larry Page (hence the name Page-Rank) and Sergey Brin as part of a research project about a new kind of search engine.

How to check whether this is valid or not? You may use some pagerank checker tools, like iWebTool or RankAlert. You even can use these tools to predict the future of your site’s pagerank. More pagerank means more popular? Probably. These are the examples of some popular sites with their pagerank:

Well, how long will it take to obtain PR4? Only time will tell. For awhile, you can view fellow PR3 sites in here and here.
