One bless that we accept after the wedding ceremony is the privilege on living an renovating the other part of the house, possesed by the wife’s family. Of course, as an old house, we may face the condition that the interior (and the exterior) is too old fashioned. We would like to redecorate it into more modern. Thankfully, we have good friends who have their own architect consulting. The first thing to be made over is our master bedroom.

Previously, the master bedroom was owned by her grandparents. After both died, it was empty. Some friends were staying, but not in long period. We asked our architect friend to reuse the home furnishings as those are made by real teak wood. They are still in good shape, just need a new look. For the bed, we were buying new spring bed. So far, we are delighted with the result. For next project, we are planning to redesign the bathroom. Yet, before that, we would like to seek for desktop lamps. We create an own working area near the wardrobe and we still don’t have any lamp.

We also look for a more modern indoor lighting. Something more minimalist, yet with modern shape. In the previous link, vanity lighting is perfect choice to mix up with our house.
