Australia’s tourism attraction

Australia, the sixth largest continent, is quite near from my country, Indonesia. In spite of the upside and downside of our political relationship, The Down Under is definitely one of the place we want to spend leisure time. There are several flights here from Jakarta to various Australian cities everyday with our carrier flag, Garuda Indonesia, and if you prefer alternative, Australia’s Quantas.

First destination is Gold Coast. It is located in Queensland, about 80 km from state capital, Brisbane. Gold Coast has several tourism attraction that will delight your vacation. Beaches, theme park, and shopping experience, I think it is more excited that Singapore. Don’t worry about hotels in Gold Coast since there are plenty of affordable rooms available.

One exciting feature in Gold Coast is Surfers Paradise. The playground that give us such a hilarious experience. There you can meet next surfer pros, especially in Indy Race that held on October. Combined with fine dining and fabulous night life, the place is something we should not miss. Hotels in Surfers Paradise is started from AUD$ 64 per night.

Next we go south to Adelaide. A quite and peaceful city, Adelaide offers several landscape attractions. Local Wineries and Murray River are unique places to visit. One to notice, South Australia allows you to travel with beloved pets! Exciting, huh? Hotels in Adelaide is even cheaper than any other regional, started from AUD$ 55 per night.

Last stop is Western Australia capital, Perth. One of the largest city (and expensive) in Australia, Perth is currently the fastest growing city there. There are several museums and art galleries to be visited, including new Western Australian Maritime Museum (opened in 2002). Also to enjoy there is performance in Perth Concert Hall. Luckily, hotels in Perth is not as expensive as we thought before. Five stars hotel room is started from AUD$ 99 per night. Enjoy Australia and you will not regret it.
